But you told me we'd do a literary cabaret, with Brecht monologues and songs in Catalan and Basque. And that we would have playbacks, yes, but I was thinking about Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf, not the Baccara and Trio Aquarius ...
Barbara is a passionate woman who leads a life full of experiences with the most important people in the jet set the aristocracy, politics and art. She wakes up one morning in a hospital room unable to move, her body completely paralyzed. Her physical paralysis overwhelms her and she barely remembers anything about the last few days. The nuns who are caring for her tell her that she was found at an airport a few days ago, completely asleep with no passport or documentation. The only thing she had with her was an old, tiny address book full of telephone numbers that are no longer valid except for that of Ana Maria. Barbara will tell her friend the truth about her life. But neither Barbara nor Ana Maria are what they seem.
