"One second more of life, one minute of light, one day of beauty... this is all worth more than all the amassed pride of several generations of dead heroes".
It is worth dying because you have lived? Can a myth be enclosed between four walls? A man awaits death in his cell, while listening to how they build the scaffold where he will be executed. However, he has the chance of surviving if he signs a document in which he publicly retracts his “crimes”. The prisoner at times makes you laugh, but also makes you reflect on everything that humans surrender to be accepted by others; about whether it’s worth moulding ourselves to the establishment while sacrificing our personality.
